Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and creative Merchandising Specialist focused on local beauty brand
development and promotional planning. This role is responsible for identifying and sourcing
emerging U.S. beauty brands, overseeing onboarding, and building localized marketing and
promotion strategies aligned with current trends. The ideal candidate will have strong
knowledge of the U.S. beauty market, a passion for indie brands, and experience in retail
merchandising and campaign planning.


Responsibilities

Local Beauty Merchandising
- Identify and build a pipeline of U.S.-based beauty brands aligned with company's
brand identity.
- Conduct trend research and market analysis to source emerging indie beauty brands.
- Lead outreach and onboarding of local brands.
- Oversee product registration and internal communication processes.

- Manage purchase orders and ensure effective inventory flow in collaboration with
suppliers.
- Monitor brand performance and product lifecycle for portfolio expansion.
- Cultivate strong, long-term brand relationships through regular strategic meetings.
Promotion Planning
- Develop and execute localized promotional plans tailored to the U.S. market.
- Launch U.S.-exclusive campaigns by localizing global marketing IPs or creating new local
initiatives.
- Coordinate co-marketing plans with brands for NPD (New Product Development)
launches.
- Analyze promotional profitability and align with business objectives.
- Lead production of marketing visuals and collaborate with external agencies.
- Track KPIs and adjust strategies as needed to meet marketing goals.
Market Research & Trend Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on competitors, trends, and consumer preferences.
- Use insights to guide brand curation and product decisions for the U.S. market.

Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, brand management, or retail buying,
preferably in beauty.
- Deep knowledge of the U.S. beauty industry, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Strong skills in product sourcing, brand negotiations, and promotional strategy.
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
- Experience in ERP systems, inventory control, and marketing campaign execution.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret profitability and sales data.
Preferred:

- Previous experience in the beauty industry.
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and other merchandising/planning tools.
