About the Role
Hyundai MOBIS is looking for an experienced IT Analyst to join our team and support our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operations. This role is vital to keeping our production systems running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with MES platforms, systems integration, and manufacturing IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
MES Development & Integration
- Design, build, and deploy MES solutions tailored to business needs
- Customize MES platforms and integrate with ERP, PLM, and other enterprise systems
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide day-to-day support for MES systems
- Resolve software, hardware, and network issues related to MES
- Manage support tickets and ensure timely follow-up
System Backup & Recovery
- Perform regular MES data backups
- Develop disaster recovery plans to protect system continuity
Software Updates & Security
- Ensure all MES software is up-to-date and secure
- Apply patches and updates, ensuring compatibility across platforms
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate technical documentation
- Track MES system health and performance with regular reports
Process Optimization
- Identify and implement improvements to system performance and efficiency
- Suggest scalable and secure MES enhancements
Team Collaboration & Project Involvement
- Work with cross-functional teams on new IT projects and MES rollouts
- Support infrastructure upgrades and system implementation plans
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience with MES development and integration
- Experience in manufacturing environments required
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of MES infrastructure (servers, storage, network)
- Knowledge of system monitoring and network tools
- Programming skills (e.g., C#, or similar languages)
Bonus Skills
- Experience working in automotive or parts manufacturing industries
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a strong plus
