Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planning Specialist to support our manufacturing operations through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory goals, and operational capacity. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production plans based on the needs of the client.
  • Monitor production progress daily and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment downtime, or changes in demand.
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory control, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely production.
  • Maintain accurate data within ERP systems, including lead times, inventory levels, and production statuses.
  • Analyze capacity constraints and recommend solutions to prevent bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, engineering changes, and special customer requests.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as schedule adherence, lead times, and production throughput.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in the planning and scheduling process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations (automotive or high-volume industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English is required.
