Your role

As a Demand Planner for the US Business Unit of Oystershell (referred to as OCH-NA), you are responsible for both capturing the needs of the Business Unit OCH-NA and translate these needs into timely and qualitatively delivery of products to the Distribution Centre in the US.

You are located in the Oystershell Corporate offices in Belgium and operate as the main and first contact person for the OCH-NA team, located in the United States.

When needed, you dispatch questions to the Oystershell Corporate team.

You are responsible to make and execute the demand planning based on the forecast and current inventory for all required OCH-NA components and finished goods. You master the inventory for all components on the balance of the company and ensure correct alignment of the inventory in our ERP system versus inventory lists of the CMOs, Production Partners and Suppliers.

You are part of the Supply team and report into the Head of Supply Chain. Next to intense collaboration with the OCH-NA team, you closely collaborate with Procurement, Quality, R&D, Regulatory and Finance colleagues at Oystershell Corporate to enable the excellent accomplishment of your tasks and responsibilities.

Required skills, educational and experience requirements

• Proven experience in Supply & Demand Planning of at least 3 years
• Experience with an ERP package is required
• Knowledge of the current Office applications, with intermediate level of Excel
• You are proactive and anticipate possible obstacles; you look for accurate solutions when necessary
• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English; and preferably in Dutch as well
• Very nice to haves are:
  • Experience in a company with a US business (unit)
  • Experience in a Customer Service role
  • Knowledge of Navision and Business Central
