Dhruva Space is a National Award-winning Space Technology startup focused on building full-stack Space engineering solutions. The company is based out of Hyderabad, India, and Graz, Austria. We have been actively involved in building application-agnostic satellite platforms.

Dhruva Space offers satellites coupled with Earth stations and Launch services as an integrated solution or individually as a technology solution to power Space-based applications on Earth & beyond. The founding team comprises of business & technology leaders who formerly were working with Exseed Space, ams AG, Cisco & KPMG. FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Description:

Assist CFO of a Space Company on a wide array of activities including Investor Management, Fundraising, Banking, and Audit. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all the company accounts
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Set up processes for Automation of accounting workflow
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
• Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
• Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
• Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members

Qualifications:

• Mandatory 5 years of post qualification experience in the field of Finance
• Mandatory background in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience in electronics or defense industries is preferred
• CA Certification
