James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation is sourcing an experienced Legal Project Manager for an International Law firm, to work across five practice groups and own how they deliver complex client matters - having a direct impact on improving service quality.


Responsibilities

Set matters up for success from initial scoping, planning, delivery, mobilisation to lessons learnt, applying best practice project management to complex matters, delivering to quality, on time and on budget

  • Co-ordinate project management activity across matters; Control and monitor and communicate with key stakeholders in real time and accurately
  • Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Identify opportunities and challenges from an early stage
  • Demonstrate value and financial savings in effective matter delivery
  • Work with fee earners to deliver complex legal matters based on best practice project management
  • Collaborate cross functionally to maintain an impeccable reputation for delivery across the firm
  • Build credible relationships with Partners across the firm
  • Coach fee earners in applying the Service Excellence and best practice
  • Collaborate with our Marketing & Business Development team to identify opportunities


Experience

Degree qualified with (ideally) a Project management professional accreditation, you will have time served in similar and progressive roles and evidence skills in Consulting, coaching and advisory;

  • Project management of client-facing, complex matters in either; a professional services firm or leading international firm or in-house legal function
  • Excellent client and internal stakeholder management
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • A genuine passion and aptitude for new and developing technology.
  • Good analytical skills, to produce engaging, concise, and timely reports
  • Ability to influence and strong personal presence
