This is your job:
- Windows OS Server Support: Provide 2nd level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues related to Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022).
- Windows Server Patching: Plan, implement, and manage Windows Server patch deployments, ensuring system stability and security.
- File and Printing Services Support: Resolve advanced issues related to file sharing, network permissions, and printing services within a Windows environment.
- Active Directory Support: Manage and troubleshoot user and computer accounts, security groups, and access permissions within Active Directory.
- VMware ESXi Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our VMware ESXi virtualized environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability of virtual machines.
- Outlook Support: Provide expert-level support for complex Outlook application client and connectivity issues. This includes creating distribution lists and managing mailbox access permissions.
- Microsoft 365 Applications and Services Support: Resolve advanced issues related to various Microsoft 365 applications and services, including but not limited to OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base to improve team efficiency and first-call resolution rates.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Your qualifications:
- Fluent in German
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or 1-3 years of experience in a 2nd level IT support or systems administration role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
- Knowledge of Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
- Experience with VMware ESXi environments.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Good understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
