Description of the role:

As a business analyst you have the following core competences:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals, processes, and requirements
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project objectives.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement or optimization.
  • Analyze and document business processes within ongoing projects.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects.
  • Develop and maintain business cases, requirements, use cases, etc.
  • Document business processes and workflows, develop and maintain business process models.
  • Knowledge of the latest LLMs and chatbots and have good prompting skills. Being able to fine-tune prompting for specific needs.

Needed qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Upper-intermediate in English for daily communication with clients and teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Experience with requirement management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in defining and implementing technology solutions for a major financial institution.
  • Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques (preferably BPMN).

Certifications:

  • Lean Management, Six Sigma, or similar certification is a plus
