Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Senior Consultant/ Architect to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Python, and a solid understanding of Azure Services. Experience with Collibra Data Platform for data governance and technical documentation skills is essential.

This is your job:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and other Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory).
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows and optimize performance for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance using Collibra Data Platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data workflows, architecture, and processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Adhere to security and compliance policies for data storage and processing in Azure.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in building data pipelines and analytics solutions in Azure cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spark.
• Proficient in Python for data transformation and pipeline development.
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and related services.
• Experience with Collibra Data Platform for metadata management and data governance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interaction.
