General Laborer – Restoration

Overview
The General Laborer supports restoration projects after water, fire, storm, or other property damage. This role involves hands-on work, assisting technicians, and helping prepare, clean, and restore residential and commercial sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water damage mitigation and basic cleanup.
• Support debris removal and light demolition (drywall, flooring, damaged materials).
• Help with fire/smoke cleaning and site preparation.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Assist with pack-outs, moving contents, and basic on-site tasks.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians.
• Interact with customers professionally and respectfully.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Experience in construction, maintenance, or restoration is a plus.
• Able to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call.

Physical Requirements

• Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, walk, bend, and carry materials for extended periods.
• Work indoors/outdoors, sometimes in damaged or wet environments.

Travel

• Occasional travel based on job needs (less than 25%).
