Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations for one of our hospitality clients. This role is ideal for a cook with solid foundational experience who can execute menu items consistently, follow established recipes, and perform well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The Line Cook works under the direction of Senior Cooks and kitchen leadership, playing a key role in food preparation, line execution, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Execute dishes accurately during service while maintaining speed and consistency
  • Assist with prep work, mise en place, and station organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
  • Support Senior Cooks and kitchen leadership as needed
  • Communicate prep needs, shortages, or issues to supervisors
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during high-volume service

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Previous experience as a Cook B, Cook II, or Line Cook preferred
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of cooking techniques and food handling
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
