Industrial Maintenance Technician / Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Journeyman Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial equipment. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of industrial equipment, including overhead cranes and computerized process equipment.

• Read and interpret prints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.

• Use test meters and equipment such as ohmmeters, volt meters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

• Install and service new equipment for voltages ranging from 110V to 4160V (single-phase, three-phase, and DC drives).

• Work with PLC systems, numerical controls, welding machines, and hydraulic systems.

• Perform maintenance and installations with minimal supervision.

• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new employees.

• Follow all safety and health policies and procedures as issued by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.

• Licensed Journeyman or Class A Electrician strongly preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

• Experience with PLCs.

• Ability to use a tape measure and demonstrate manual dexterity for operating tools and machinery.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.

• Forklift experience; ability to pass forklift certification.

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Normal for a manufacturing environment.

• Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.

• Requires use of safety equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and gloves.
