Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. 
• Monitor and optimise cloud resources to meet performance, availability, and capacity requirements, and ensure efficient resource utilisation. Incident management: Lead and coordinate incident response, including root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and proactive measures to prevent recurrence. 
• Security and compliance: Implement and enforce security controls, compliance measures, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of cloud environments and data.
• Vendor management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers, negotiate contracts, and stay infor services and features to optimise cloud operations.
• Team leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations and infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. 
• Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices, automation, and the adoption of new cloud technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
