Position Overview

Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a local dedicated retail account based in Columbus, OH. This position offers daily home time, steady freight, and consistent routes delivering to retail store locations throughout the Midwest.

Drivers will run structured local routes with reliable scheduling and strong weekly earning potential.

Route & Freight Details

• Local deliveries within a 250-mile radius of Columbus, OH
• Operating area includes:
  • Ohio
  • Kentucky
  • Indiana
• Deliveries to retail store locations
• Freight includes:
  • Dry freight
  • Refrigerated freight
• No-touch freight
• Mix of:
  • Live unload
  • Drop & hook
• Average ~1,600–1,700 miles per week
• Consistent, high-volume freight

Schedule

• Home daily
• 2 days off per week
• 12-hour shifts (average)
• Start times vary (24/7 operation)
• Must be available for:
  • Day and night shifts
  • Weekends
  • Holidays

Full-time and part-time options available

Pay & Compensation

• Avg Weekly Pay: ~$1,350
• Avg Annual Pay: ~$70,000

Mileage Pay (based on experience):

• $0.57 – $0.63 CPM

Additional Pay:

• $51.50 backhaul pay
• $20 stop pay (after first stop)
• $75 holiday pay
• $45 minimum route pay (under 96 miles)

Equipment & Work Setup

• Newer model day cab trucks
• Slip seat operation
• Trucks assigned as needed
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the terminal

Training

• 1-day ride along: $100

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation to the distribution center
