Local CDL-A Truck Driver | Home Daily | Columbus, OH | $1,100–$1,400/Week

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal position based in Columbus, OH. This is a home daily account with steady freight, operating across multiple Ohio markets.

Position Details:

• Location: Columbus, OH (ZIP 43228)

• Hiring Area: Must live within 50 miles

• Operating Area: Columbus, Lockbourne, Toledo, and Cincinnati markets

• Position Type: Local / Intermodal

• Equipment: Intermodal containers

• Freight: No-touch

Pay & Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,100–$1,400

• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 2,000 miles

Pay Structure:

• Approximately $0.62 CPM

• Additional $40 for any loaded move under 100 miles

Additional Pay (from pay package):

• $40 per customer-paid load

• Night differential: +$0.06 CPM

• Weekend differential: +$0.12 CPM

Other Pay:

• No stop pay

• No unload pay

Bonus:

• No bonus offered

Schedule & Home Time:

• Home Time: Daily

• Schedule Options:

  • Sunday – Thursday

  • Tuesday – Saturday

• Weekend Work: Required

• Holiday Work: Volunteer-based

• Shift: Night driving involved

Job Duties:

• Haul intermodal containers across regional Ohio markets

• Work a mix of drop and hook, preloaded freight, and live load/unload

• Average of approximately 3 loads per day

• Cross into multiple markets as part of daily operations

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Minimum 6 months of CDL-A tractor trailer experience required

• Valid CDL-A license

• Hazmat endorsement required

• Must be comfortable with winter driving conditions
