CDL-A Truck Driver | Avg $1,650–$1,900/Week | Salina, KS | Regional & Flex

Position Overview

Now hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a flex regional account based in Salina, KS. This position offers multiple driving options, strong weekly averages, and flexible home time, allowing drivers to choose between day or night routes.

Drivers will deliver retail automotive parts across multiple states with consistent freight and structured schedules.

Route & Freight Details

• Operating across:
  • KS, NE, MO, CO, OK, IA
• Average miles:
  • 2,400–2,560 miles per week
• Average ~35 stops per week
• Deliveries to:
  • Automotive parts stores
• Freight includes:
  • Automotive parts handled with electric pallet jack
• Driver unload required (touch freight)
• Returns may be required

Schedule & Shift Options

Day Shift (Layover Routes)

• Monday – Friday
• Start time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Drivers out ~2 nights per week
• All deliveries completed during business hours

Night Shift (Home Daily Option)

• Monday – Friday
• Start time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Home after each shift
• Overnight unattended deliveries

Regional Option

• Monday – Friday
• Home weekends (Sat/Sun)
• 5 days out / 2 days home

Drivers typically have 2 layovers per week or daily home time depending on route

Pay & Compensation

• Avg Weekly Pay: $1,650+ (top drivers up to ~$2,000/week)
• Avg Annual Pay: $81,000+

Additional Pay:

• $34–$35 stop pay
• $125 layover pay
• $100 on-call pay

Bonuses

• $5,000 sign-on bonus (paid in increments)
• $3,000 referral bonus

Equipment & Work Setup

• 2020 and newer equipment
• Mix of:
  • Sleeper trucks
  • Straight trucks
• Governed speeds:
  • 65 mph pedal / cruise
• Onsite parking in Salina, KS

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Must be able to:
  • Handle touch freight deliveries
  • Work full scheduled week (required for guaranteed pay eligibility)
• No pets or passengers allowed

Orientation

• Onsite orientation in Salina, KS
• Includes:
  • 2 days orientation
  • 2 days onsite training
