CDL-A Truck Driver | Chester, NY | Home Daily | $85K–$100K

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local dedicated grocery account based in Chester, NY. This position offers daily home time, consistent freight, and strong annual earnings.

Position Details:

• Location: Chester, NY (10918)

• Hiring radius: 50 miles

• Operating area: 250-mile radius (NY, CT, NJ, PA; NYC after training)

• Home time: Daily

• Schedule: 5-day work week

• Days off: Wednesday & Thursday

• Start time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Average miles/week: 1,409

• Average loads/week: 10

• Average stops: 16

Pay & Compensation:

• $0.68 – $0.74 CPM

• Average annual pay: $85,000 – $100,000

• Stop pay (non-NYC): $28.50 – $30 per stop

• NYC delivery pay: $62.50 per stop

• Detention pay: $15/hour

• Safety training pay: $20/hour

• Training pay: $200/day

• Truck move pay: $50

• Holiday pay: $280/day

Freight Details:

• Fresh and frozen grocery deliveries

• Reefer trailers (48', 51', 53')

• Multi-stop routes (15+ stops per week)

• 1–2 loads per day

• Mostly no-touch freight with driver assist

• Pallet jack unload may be required (training provided)

• Backhauls or returns after final stop

NYC Policy:

• No NYC routes for first 6 months

• NYC runs only after training and certification

• NYC freight is only 20–25% of total

Equipment:

• Day cabs (automatic & manual)

• 48' box and reefer trailers

• Slip-seat operation

• Trucks cannot be taken home

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Must meet DOT and safety requirements

• Reliable personal transportation required

• Must be willing to work scheduled holidays

• Customer-service mindset required
