Role Overview

A healthcare facility in Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician for a 90-day onsite contract assignment. This role supports vascular and neuro interventional procedures within a fast-paced imaging and procedural environment while delivering high-quality patient care and technical imaging support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with vascular and neuro interventional procedures
• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and imaging equipment
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain accurate documentation
• Operate imaging systems and support radiology equipment maintenance
• Support scheduling, inventory management, and on-call responsibilities
• Follow radiation safety procedures and clinical protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technician experience required
• Experience with both vascular and neuro interventional procedures required
• Neuro interventional case experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) License required
• Current BLS and CPR certifications required
• Strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills
• Ability to work rotating call schedules and on-call weekends

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous traveler or contract healthcare experience
• Experience using EPIC EHR, Synapse imaging software, or Startrack systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Compensation

• $72.07/hour
• 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday schedule
• On-call opportunities available
• 90-day contract assignment

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM–4:00 PM EST
• Rotating call schedule
• Every other weekend on-call
• Onsite in Hartford, CT
