Position Overview

Drivers will transport liquid chemical products across Midwest regional lanes with steady freight demand.

Route & Freight Details

  • Regional runs primarily across:
    • KY, IL, MO, TN, IN, OH, TX, OK
    • Possible Canada runs (passport preferred)
  • Average:
    • ~2,200–2,500 miles per week
  • Freight includes:
    • Hazmat liquid chemicals (bulk tanker)
  • Equipment:
    • Bulk tanker trailers
  • Consistent freight in specialized chemical transport

Schedule

  • 10–14 days out
  • Home for 34-hour reset
  • Longer regional runs with extended time on the road
  • Must be available for:
    • Multi-day routes
    • Flexible scheduling

Pay & Compensation

  • Avg Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,800
  • Avg Annual Pay: $62,000 – $93,000

Additional pay structure (from pay table):

  • Mileage-based pay + load pay opportunities
  • Incentives for higher mileage production
  • Holiday and detention pay included

Bonuses

  • $1,500 referral bonus
    • $750 after hire
    • $750 after 90 days

Equipment & Work Setup

  • 2019+ Mack, Volvo, and International trucks
  • Mix of:
    • Automatic and manual transmissions
  • Governed speeds:
    • 65 mph pedal / 68 mph cruise

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
  • Must have:
    • Tanker endorsement
    • Hazmat endorsement
    • TWIC card
  • Passport preferred (for Canada loads)
  • Must be able to:
    • Pass drug screen
    • Maintain safe driving record
    • Handle specialized chemical freight
