Position Overview

Now hiring CDL-A drivers for dry bulk hauling positions based in Ashdown, AR. This opportunity offers both local and regional options, giving drivers flexibility between daily home time or weekly routes.

Drivers will haul dry bulk commodities with steady freight and consistent miles using well-maintained equipment.

Route & Freight Details

• Hauling dry bulk commodities including:
  • Cement
  • Fly ash
• Operating area:
  • Local: within 250 miles of Ashdown, AR
  • Regional: multi-state regional lanes
• Equipment: 2019+ Mack and International tractors
• Average miles:
  • Local: 1,000–1,600 miles/week
  • Regional: 2,000–2,400 miles/week

Schedule & Home Time Options

Local Position

• Monday – Friday
• Occasional Saturday work
• Home daily (occasional overnight possible)

Regional Position

• Sunday night / Monday start Friday/Saturday end
• Home weekly

Pay & Compensation

• Avg Weekly Pay: $1,100–$1,300
• Avg Annual Pay: $55,000 – $68,000

Additional Pay & Bonuses:

• $200 orientation pay
• $120/day training pay
• $0.03/mile bonus for miles over 1,600/week
• Referral bonus: $1,500 ($750 at hire / $750 after 90 days)

Additional pay opportunities shown in pay structure (per load, loading/unloading, detention, etc.) available based on routes and assignments.

Equipment & Work Setup

• Modern 2019+ tractors
• Governed speeds:
  • 65 mph pedal
  • 68 mph cruise
• Parking at terminal yard in Ashdown, AR
• No pets or riders allowed

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Must have safe driving and work history
• TWIC card preferred (local) / required (regional)
