Night Shift | Drop & Hook | $1,200–$1,400 Weekly Average

We are hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal position based out of Chicago, IL (60608 area). This is a home daily opportunity with consistent freight and strong earning potential.

If you are looking for steady miles, night shift differential pay, and daily home time, this is a solid lane.

Pay & Earnings

• $0.62 per mile starting pay
• $20 per load
• Average weekly earnings: $1,200 – $1,400
• Approximately 1,800 miles per week

Additional Pay Differentials:

• Night Differential: +$0.06 per mile (Monday–Friday, 7 PM – 4 AM)
• Weekend Differential: +$0.12 per mile (Friday 7 PM – Monday 4 AM)
• Additional case-by-case pay adjustments may apply

Home Time & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Night shift
• Weekend work required
• Holiday work required if it falls on your scheduled day

Lane Information

• Runs throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana
• Drop and hook freight
• Live loads and unloads
• Chicago traffic and occasional out-of-state runs (still home daily)

• Must live within 25 miles of 60608
• Chicago, IL area

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months recent Class A tractor-trailer experience required
• No endorsements required
• Solo positions only
• No owner-operators
