Position Overview

Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a local shuttle position based in Lafayette, IN. This role supports manufacturing operations by moving heavy equipment between facilities with consistent daily routes and steady hourly pay.

Drivers will run short, repeatable routes throughout the day with predictable schedules and reliable earnings.

Route & Freight Details

• Local shuttle between:
  • Lafayette, IN Monticello, IN
• Round trip distance: ~50 miles
• Drivers complete 2–3 round trips per day
• Freight includes:
  • Engines
  • Generators
  • Radiators
  • Industrial components (some oversized)
• Flatbed / double drop operation
• Live load drop hook return cycle
• Securement required (chains, binders, strapping)

Schedule & Shift Options

1st Shift

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Monday – Friday
• Occasional Saturday work

2nd Shift

• 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Monday – Friday
• Occasional Saturday work

Home every weekend
May be home some nights depending on location
Consistent, repeatable daily routes

Pay & Compensation

• Avg Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,500

Hourly Pay:

• 1st Shift: $25/hour
• 2nd Shift: $27/hour

Bonuses:

• $500 transition bonus (paid on 2nd paycheck)
• $3,000 referral bonus (paid in increments)

Equipment & Work Setup

• 2016–2023 Kenworth trucks
• Double drop trailers
• Governed at 65 mph
• Onsite parking available
• Non-slip seat operation (subject to change)

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Must have:
  • Flatbed experience within the last 3 years
  • Securement experience (chains, binders, strapping)
• Must be able to:
  • Handle industrial/oversized freight
  • Work occasional Saturdays
• Must live within 50 miles of Lafayette or Monticello, IN

Orientation

• Orientation held in Atlanta, GA
• Travel arrangements provided
