Pay Rate: $68.79/hour

Role Overview

A healthcare facility in Warwick, RI is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Medical/Surgical Float Pool assignment. This 3-month onsite contract offers night shift scheduling and the opportunity to work across multiple medical and surgical units in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care across medical and surgical units
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support discharge planning and patient education
• Adapt quickly to varying unit workflows and patient populations

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island RN license required
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts and float between units
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments

Nice-to-Haves

• Critical care experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Previous float pool or traveler nursing experience
• Experience with EHR and hospital documentation systems

Compensation

• $68.79/hour
• 36 hours per week
• 3-month contract assignment
• Night shift schedule
• Exposure to multiple clinical settings and patient populations

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 PM–7:30 AM EST
• 12-hour night shifts
• Float pool assignments based on clinical needs
