Role Overview

A full-service tire and auto repair company is seeking a Commercial Truck Alignment and Front-End Mechanic to support maintenance and repair operations for medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining steering, suspension, and alignment systems while ensuring vehicles meet safety and DOT compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform alignments on Class 4–8 commercial trucks using alignment systems and diagnostic equipment
• Diagnose and repair steering and suspension components including kingpins, tie rods, and drag links
• Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and safety concerns
• Conduct road tests before and after repairs
• Maintain accurate repair and service documentation
• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures
• Maintain alignment equipment, tools, and work areas
• Assist with brake and wheel-end repair work as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial truck front-end or suspension repair
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty steering and suspension systems
• Experience operating commercial alignment equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Valid driver's license required
• CDL preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards
• Authorization to work in the United States required

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working on Class 4–8 commercial trucks
• DOT inspection or fleet maintenance experience
• Brake and wheel-end repair experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
