Role Overview
An AI infrastructure company is seeking a Business Development Representative to support outbound sales efforts targeting frontier AI labs and enterprise organizations. This role focuses on building pipeline through strategic outreach, prospect engagement, and collaboration with leadership to develop scalable outbound sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and industry events
- Identify and engage key contacts within AI labs and enterprise organizations
- Generate qualified sales pipeline through strategic outreach and relationship building
- Support development of outbound messaging, ICPs, and prospecting strategies
- Communicate product value related to AI training data and evaluation infrastructure
- Maintain CRM accuracy and track outbound sales metrics
- Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or outbound sales roles
- Strong written communication and cold outreach skills
- Technical literacy around AI/ML concepts including model training and evaluation
- Experience prospecting across multiple channels
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in evolving environments
- Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in B2B SaaS, DaaS, or AI-related industries
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sequencing tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience engaging technical or research-oriented buyers
- Experience attending AI/ML industry events or conferences
Compensation
- Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
- OTE: $112,000 - $160,000
