Position Overview

Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a local dedicated automotive delivery position based in Davenport, IA. This is a home daily, night shift role with strong weekly averages and guaranteed minimum pay.

Drivers will run flexible routes delivering automotive parts to dealerships, with opportunities to learn multiple lanes and transition into more consistent routes over time.

Route & Freight Details

• Local and regional deliveries across:
  • IA, IL, IN, MN, MO, NE, WI
• Deliveries to automotive dealerships
• Freight includes:
  • Hoods, bumpers, doors, and loose parts
  • Cages and totes
• Touch freight required
• Responsibilities include:
  • Unloading trailers
  • Scanning deliveries
  • Picking up returns
  • Securing dealership locations after delivery
• Must be comfortable driving in tight dealership lots and confined areas

Schedule

• Monday – Friday nights
• Start time window: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Home daily
• Night shift only
• Off weekends
• Home for major U.S. holidays

Pay & Compensation

• Avg Weekly Pay: $1,400–$1,800
• Avg Annual Pay: $72,800 – $93,600

Guaranteed Pay:

• $1,400 weekly minimum
• $1,450 after 12 months

Mileage Pay:

• $0.58 – $0.62 CPM

Additional Pay:

• $20 per delivery stop
• $13 drop & hook pay
• $18.54/hour training pay
• $500 transition bonus (paid on 2nd paycheck)

Equipment & Work Setup

• 2020–2024 Freightliner & International trucks
• Automatic transmission
• 28' and 48' dry van trailers with lift gates
• EZ Pass equipped
• Outward-facing cameras
• Slip seat environment

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Doubles endorsement required
• Must be able to:
  • Lift 40–75 lbs
  • Handle touch freight
  • Work in tight delivery spaces
• Must be comfortable working night shifts

Work Environment

• Drivers may receive keys to access dealership gates
• Must secure locations after delivery
• Facility includes driver break room and vending machines
