Role Overview

A manufacturing facility in Elk Grove Village, IL is hiring Laminator Operators for a night shift production role. This position is responsible for operating laminating equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining production quality, cleanliness standards, and workplace safety.

Shift & Schedule

• Night Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM
• 12-hour continental schedule
• Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next
• Off every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laminating equipment safely and efficiently
• Mix adhesives according to established formulas
• Verify product specifications and first-piece quality checks
• Read and interpret production job orders
• Measure materials and verify adhesive calculations
• Maintain machine cleanliness and SQF production standards
• Change raw material rolls and manage substrates during operation
• Operate lathe machinery when required
• Handle hazardous waste according to safety procedures
• Report safety concerns, accidents, and quality issues immediately
• Participate in audits, safety programs, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of machine operator experience
• Laminator experience preferred but not required
• Experience measuring and working with chemicals
• Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure
• Basic math skills preferred
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attendance and safety record
