Role Overview

A regional Southeast retail freight operation is seeking CDL-A drivers based out of Cowpens, SC. Drivers will haul dry freight throughout the Southeast while operating within a physically active touch freight environment. This position offers weekly home time, strong earning potential, and consistent regional freight volume for drivers comfortable with unloading freight using roller conveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport dry freight throughout regional Southeast routes
• Deliver freight across SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV, and OH
• Unload freight at customer locations using roller conveyor systems
• Complete an average of 3 loads per week with multi-stop deliveries
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Accurately maintain logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer locations

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• Ability to handle touch freight and roller unload deliveries
• Comfortable operating regional Southeast routes
• Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
• Ability to work within a physically demanding delivery environment
• Ability to operate safely in varying weather and traffic conditions
• Drivers outside the local area must have a secure location to park equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• Average weekly pay: $1,672
• Top 10% weekly pay: $2,020
• Average annual pay: $86,962
• Top 10% annual pay: $105,023
• CPM pay structure based on experience
• Additional unload pay averaging $320 per load

Pay Breakdown

• 0–12 months: $0.70 CPM
• 13–24 months: $0.72 CPM

• 73–84 months: $0.82 CPM
• 85+ months: $0.84 CPM

Schedule & Home Time
