Position Overview

Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a semi-local dedicated account based in Indianapolis, IN. This position offers consistent freight, strong weekly averages, and frequent home time throughout the week.

Drivers will haul recyclable materials between customer locations and a central recycling facility, with a mix of short and mid-range routes.

Route & Freight Details

• Operating across multiple states including:
  • IN, IL, MI, OH, TN, WI, IA, MO, MN, AR, MD
• Drivers start with an empty trailer, pick up freight, and return to the facility
• Freight includes:
  • Raw baled plastics (recyclable materials)
• Mix of:
  • Drop & hook
  • Live load/unload
• 100% no-touch freight
• Average:
  • ~2,130 miles per week
  • ~7 stops per week

Schedule

• 5 days on / 2 consecutive days off
• Account operates 7 days per week (flexibility required)
• Start time window: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Typical shift: 11–13 hours
• Drivers are typically out 2–3 nights per week
• Frequent home time throughout the week

Pay & Compensation

• Avg Weekly Pay: $1,500–$1,700
• Avg Annual Pay: $78,000+

Mileage Pay:

• $0.61 CPM

Additional Pay:

• $20 drop & hook pay (avg 4–5 per week)
• $42 live stop pay (avg 2–3 per week)
• $20/hour safety training pay

Equipment & Work Setup

• Single bunk sleeper trucks
• 53' box trailers
• Trucks must remain at terminal during home time
• Uniform shirt provided

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
• Must be able to work flexible schedules and multi-day routes
• Must be comfortable being out 2–3 nights per week
