Role Overview

A growing final mile delivery operation in La Crosse, WI is hiring experienced CDL-A and CDL-B drivers for a flexible local delivery position serving automotive retail locations throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. This role offers daily home time, guaranteed weekly pay, stop pay, and stable year-round freight.

Drivers must be comfortable operating both daytime and overnight schedules while handling hands-on final mile deliveries using electric pallet jacks. This FLEX position is ideal for drivers who enjoy variety and can adapt to changing route needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate straight trucks on local delivery routes
• Deliver freight to Advanced Auto Parts and Car Quest locations
• Unload freight using electric pallet jacks
• Handle product returns when necessary
• Perform unattended overnight deliveries
• Cover routes for drivers on vacation, sick leave, or additional freight demand
• Assist with cross-training on multiple routes
• Maintain DOT compliance and safety standards

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license
• Minimum 12 months recent straight truck experience
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Must be comfortable driving both day and night schedules
• Ability to handle physical unloading duties
• Must be available for full scheduled workweeks to qualify for guaranteed pay
• No pets or passengers allowed

Compensation & Benefits

• Average weekly pay: $1,636
• Top performers earning up to $1,700 weekly
• Annual average earnings: $85,046
• Guaranteed weekly minimum pay: $1,600
• CPM pay starts at $0.45 per mile
• Annual increases up to $0.53 CPM
• Hourly pay: $16.75/hour
• Stop pay: $24 per stop
• New hire transition bonus: $500

Schedule & Home Time

• Home daily
• Drivers must be flexible with changing schedules
• Night driver routes typically:
  • Monday 11:00 PM or Tuesday 12:00 AM departures
  • Saturday assigned schedule
• Overnight routes are non-layover
• Drivers return home at the end of shifts
• FLEX drivers cover routes based on operational needs

Orientation Information

• Orientation held onsite in Salina
• Classes held Tuesdays only
