CDL-A Truck Driver | Albany, NY Area | Home Daily | $96K/Year | Night Shift

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local dedicated delivery position based in the Albany, NY area (Schodack/Nassau). This is a home daily, steady-pay job with consistent routes and no NYC driving.

Position Details:

• Location: Albany, NY area (Schodack/Nassau)

• Job Type: Local – Dedicated

• Home Time: Daily

• Schedule: 5 days/week

• Typical Work Days: Weekends included (days off vary)

• Start Time: Night shift (approx. 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM)

• 6th day available/required during peak seasons

Pay & Compensation:

• Average Annual Pay: ~$96,000

• CPM: $0.76 – $0.78

• $94/day minimum (must work full schedule)

• Stop Pay: $40 per stop

• Drop & Hook Pay: $25

• Off-route work: $225–$400/day (when available)

• Training Pay: $240/day

• Holiday Pay: $200/day

Miles & Freight:

• Operating Radius: ~150–250 miles

• Multi-stop routes (approx. 15 stops/week)

• Preloaded trailers

• Palletized freight

Freight Details:

• Driver assist unload using electric pallet jack

• 2 stops per trailer (typical)

• Customer-facing deliveries

Equipment:

• Automatic day cabs

• Slip seat operation

• Trucks cannot be taken home

• Must have reliable transportation to terminal

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience

• Must be comfortable with:

  • Night driving

  • Multi-stop routes

  • Pallet jack unloading

• Must live within hiring radius

• Strong customer service skills required
