Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Overview:

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components for our products. This includes using your own tools to complete the assembly process and ensuring that all components are installed correctly and functioning properly. You will also be required to have experience with hydraulics and be able to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise during the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings and instructions

- Use hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components

- Install and align components according to specifications

- Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including hydraulics

- Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards

- Continuously improve assembly processes to increase efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly

- Experience with hydraulics is required

- Own set of tools for assembly work

- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
