Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to fabricate parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations and sequences.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of machined components.
  • Set up tooling and fixtures for CNC operations, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tooling required for machining operations.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively in the fabrication process.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control throughout the machining process.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or related field is a plus.
