About the job Exploration Manager

The Exploration Manager will lead greenfield and brownfield exploration programs targeting VMS and porphyry systems with the goal of world-class discoveries. Responsible for strategic planning, execution, and technical oversight, the role manages multidisciplinary teams, refines targeting models, and advances prospects from early-stage exploration to resource definition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement exploration strategies across greenfield and brownfield projects.

  • Identify, prioritize, and evaluate prospective areas for VMS and porphyry mineralization.

  • Oversee field programs including geological mapping, drilling, sampling, and geophysical surveys.

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of geologists, geophysicists, and technical staff to ensure technical excellence.

  • Analyse and integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to refine targeting and maximize discovery potential.

  • Ensure timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability within the exploration team.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Geology or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of exploration experience, with proven success in VMS and porphyry systems.

  • Experience managing both greenfield and brownfield exploration programs.

  • Strong technical knowledge in structural geology, geochemistry, and geophysics.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing exploration teams.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
