Group Geologist - Corporate

We are seeking a Group Geologist - Corporate to oversee operational geology, orebody knowledge, and resource management at a corporate level. You'll ensure the integration of geological insights across multiple operations (regionally and overseas), enhancing resource efficiency and performance.

The Role:

• Lead operational geology teams, integrating geostatistics and resource governance across sites
• Oversee a team of leadership and up-and-coming Mine/Resource Geologists, ensuring accuracy and consistency in orebody knowledge and resource estimates
• Optimise geological models and resource estimates to maximize recovery and operational performance
• Act as the geological lead for Qualified Person requirements
• Align geological data collection with mine planning and operational strategies
• Support due diligence for acquisitions and long-term business growth
• Lead and oversee compliance with NI 43-101 reporting standards

About You:

• MSc in Geoscience (BSc will be OK but MSc or higher is preferred)
• 15+ years of experience in operational geology and resource estimation especially with a good portion of those years being in leadership roles
• Strong understanding of geostatistics, geological modeling, and industry reporting standards
• Proven leadership in managing multiple teams and operations
