Geology Manager
Job Description:
Own and drive the geological growth strategy for a major gold development, delivering the drilling, modelling and technical integration required to progress feasibility studies and future mine development. The role will lead a team of geologists and connect exploration, resource development and mine planning.

A global gold producer advancing a large, high grade development project within an established North American mining district. The project has significant visibility and is progressing from exploration and resource growth into formal study and development phases.
Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor and develop geologists while maintaining regular field interaction and technical engagement.
- Build strong working relationships across exploration, resource management, studies, mine planning and operations.
- Deliver the Life of Mine growth strategy in alignment with broader mining and corporate objectives.
- Advance geological targets and projects from conceptual status through increasing levels of resource confidence.
- Develop and manage major drilling programmes, budgets, forecasts and monthly expenditure.
- Ensure geological models follow appropriate technical standards and good practice.
- Plan and coordinate large surface drilling campaigns involving multiple drill rigs.
- Bridge exploration geology, feasibility studies, resource modelling and mine planning.
- Communicate project progress and technical conclusions to senior stakeholders.
- Deliver drilling plans safely, on schedule and within budget while adapting to changing technical information.
Qualifications
- Significant exploration and resource development experience within gold or comparable mineral systems.
- At least five years of direct people leadership with a record of delivering valuable geological projects.
- Strong brownfields exploration, resource modelling and drilling programme experience.
- Understanding of mine planning and the progression of projects through feasibility studies.
- Knowledge of hydrothermal systems, structural geology and geochemistry.
- Experience with material programme budgets, forecasting and cost control.
- Ability to articulate and defend technical interpretations while remaining collaborative and adaptable.
- Proven ability to progress projects from early exploration toward development.
