Senior Geophysicist
Job Description:
Lead geophysical exploration activities supporting mineral discovery and target generation across multiple projects. The role will focus on survey design, acquisition oversight, interpretation and integration of geophysical datasets into exploration decisions.

- Accountabilities
- Support the safe and efficient delivery of exploration programmes across technical, operational and logistical activities.
- Design and oversee geophysical survey acquisition aligned with regional strategies and target generation objectives.
- Supervise field acquisition and ensure quality control, operational efficiency and compliance with safety requirements.
- Manage contractors and specialist processing providers against approved scopes, schedules and data standards.
- Interpret complex datasets using advanced modelling and inversion techniques.
- Integrate geophysical, geological and geochemical information to strengthen exploration models and targeting.
- Prepare technical reports, maps and two and three dimensional visualisations.
- Mentor geophysicists, junior employees and field teams.
- Maintain structured archives of datasets, interpretations and reports.
- Evaluate and implement emerging geophysical technologies.
- Collaborate across geology, exploration and project teams in a multicultural environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or a related discipline.
- At least five years of geophysical exploration experience, including three years of supervision or project leadership.
- Experience across direct current induced polarisation, resistivity, electromagnetic, magnetic and gravity methods.
- Strong proficiency in geophysical processing, interpretation, modelling and inversion software.
- Experience with geographic information systems for spatial analysis and data integration.
- Proven ability to lead field programmes while maintaining strong safety and operational standards.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, reporting and decision making capability.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
