About the job HR Generalist
Job Summary: The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role ensures the efficient implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives and fosters a supportive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the implementation of hiring processes, including job description preparation, applicant sourcing and screening, job offers, and onboarding.
Employee Performance & Development:
- Facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of employee performance.
- Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Manage processes related to promotions and transfers.
HR Administration & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws concerning employee health, safety, and welfare.
- Supervise timekeeping, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Manage employee movements, including promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
- Ensure accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital formats.
- Maintain and update employee 201 files while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Employee Relations & Workplace Environment:
- Address and resolve employee grievances, concerns, and demands.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
- Foster an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
Reports & Record Management:
- Maintain and prepare reports such as Hiring Reports, Attrition Reports, and Employee Discipline Reports.
- Organize and update HR files, including 201 Files, Policies and Procedures, and OSH Policy.
- Track HR metrics, including leave, overtime, attrition, and timekeeping.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant HR experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, including the capability to train and mentor others.
- Adaptability to diverse and inclusive work environments.
- Must be willing to work on site in Ortigas, Pasig.
