Children's Home Manager
Gillingham
£50,000 - £55,000 per year
40 hours/week (MonFri) + occasional evenings/weekends + on-call rota

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead the registration and operations of a new Ofsted-regulated children's home, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is an exciting opportunity for a current Registered Manager or Deputy looking to step up and make a real impact.

What You will Do:

  • Lead and manage an Ofsted-registered children's home

  • Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care

  • Safeguard and support children with complex needs

  • Inspire, manage, and support your team

  • Drive quality improvement and compliance

  • Oversee service operations, including staffing, risk, budgets, 

About You:

  • Proven experience in children's residential care

  • Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and safeguarding

  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)

  • Skilled in leading teams and managing behaviours associated with trauma

  • IT-confident and data-literate

  • Driven, compassionate, and resilient
