The Solution Implementation and Release Manager plays a key role in ensuring overall customer satisfaction by managing, coordinating and aligning technical teams with customer expectations as set by the Delivery Team. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Solution Implementation.

The Solution Implementation and Release Manager will work closely in developing the project schedule based on contractual objectives and ensure Solution Leads can coordinate requirements, development and QA activities.

This role will be key to coordinating the collaboration of product and delivery technical teams to determine solutions for product gaps, new feature development and customers configuration. The Solution Implementation and Release Manager will work with technical architecture to ensure solution requirements and specifications are documented, distributed and understood by development and testing teams and align to customer business expectations. In addition, this person will collaborate with both internal stakeholders and client teams to plan and execute smooth releases to production.

This is an interdisciplinary role requiring a good grasp of software development and testing processes, web architecture, cloud technologies, agile frameworks, and traditional project management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with delivery teams and customers to understand requirements, identify gaps, and clarify deliverables.
  • Facilitate discussions between internal development teams, customer BAs, SMEs, and technical staff to resolve ambiguities and align on implementation needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and development teams to create high-level solutions, translate them into agile iteration backlogs, and manage technical deliverables.
  • Maintain documentation for product deliverables, background information, release procedures, notification lists, and dependencies.
  • Regularly communicate the status of product implementations to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency in delivery progress.
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals, RFPs, pitch meetings, and overall solution planning.
  • Collaborate with internal and external contributors to develop customer-specific co-delivery plans, adhering to implementation processes and ensuring alignment with project strategy and delivery realities.
  • Balance the needs of business, end-users, and technical stakeholders by evaluating implementation tradeoffs and ensuring stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to teams involved in product implementation.
  • Ensure strong customer relationships and project success through focused delivery and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Anticipate and address issues with timelines and key activity completion, while being accountable for critical project deadlines and milestones.
  • Facilitate feedback loops from customers to development and QA teams to continuously refine deliverables.
  • Participate in sprint planning, change management, release planning, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Lead and coordinate software release activities, ensuring DevOps availability and successful production deployments.
  • Guide QA teams in adopting best testing practices, including automation frameworks, workflow setup, and validation processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements across technology, methodology, and solution implementation.
  • Administer ITSM, development, and testing tools, supporting teams in establishing consistent workflows and meaningful reporting.
  • Provide backup support for project coordinators, Scrum Masters, and BAs as needed.
  • Facilitate cross-team and customer meetings to resolve integration issues, clarify change requests, and provide effort estimates.
  • Uphold quality software delivery and promote best practices across teams.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of policies and procedures guiding solution implementation.

Key Qualifications

  • Must be logical and organized with great interpersonal skills and must also be capable of working under pressure.
  • Be an effective communicator with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience in system implementation and knowledgeable about implementation methodologies.
  • Ability to manage change ensuring tight control.
  • Excellent knowledge of development methodologies and their foundation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools supporting it.
  • Proven consultant experience for software development solutions.
  • Solid understanding of web architecture and Azure and Google Cloud offerings.
  • Strong facilitation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development.
  • Best practices in product development.
  • Experience reviewing business requirements.
  • Project management and implementation management experience.
  • Able to lead deep-dive technical discussions for solutioning.
  • Able to provide estimates for duration/effort of design/development activities.
  • Experience and capabilities to speak with customer leaders to extract expectations, influence direction, and manage expectations.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments while following best practices and company processes.
  • Highly driven and passionate about customer satisfaction, product development, and technology.
