About the job Game Data Analyst

Our Client

Our client is an established, global mobile-games and utility-apps publisher with more than a decade in the market. One of their self-developed titles has passed 10M+ downloads on Google Play and racked up 56K+ App Store ratings, holding a 4.8-star average across both platforms. Building on that track record, they're now expanding into the overseas Social-Casino / Sweepstakes genre — slots and casino-style social games built around a compliant, coupon-based rewards model for the US market — and are standing up new, largely autonomous studios across several regions to support that push.

Why This Role Exists

This is a newly created role, tied directly to the company's expansion into overseas Social-Casino / Sweepstakes games. Rather than bolting data support onto an existing team, they're building a dedicated, full-stack studio — design, engineering, art, operations, and data — for this new business line, and this hire is the analytics seat, reporting to the studio's Game Producer.

What You'll Work On

  • Deep-Dive Analysis: Analyze large, complex user and game datasets to surface insights the team can act on.
  • Actionable Recommendations: Turn game-economy, gameplay, operations, and marketing/LiveOps-event data into concrete recommendations — not just reports.
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Build and continuously improve dashboards so the wider team has a shared, current view of key metrics.
  • KPI Development: Define and track the KPIs that matter for this business, and keep other teams aligned on what the numbers say.
  • A/B Testing: Design, run, and report on A/B tests aimed at improving revenue and player experience, informing new feature launches.
  • Tooling: Help select and implement the analytics tools and practices this growing team will run on.

Requirements

  • 3+ years analyzing large, complex datasets, with hands-on experience on live game projects.
  • Background in casual / social-casino mobile games built for tier-1 markets, preferably the US — F2P or social-casino analytics specifically (competitive analysis, experimentation, fraud/risk-control, or forecasting all count).
  • Real understanding of the Social-Casino business — someone who turns data into decisions, not just raw report extracts.
  • Comfortable working within a compliant, non-gambling Sweepstakes-model framework (top-ups, redemption, and cash rewards) built for the U.S. market, spanning slot machines and Texas Hold'em-style games.
  • Able to connect analysis to business outcomes — retention, monetization, and LTV — and flag risks tied to economic inflation, gameplay, and compliance.
  • Strong hands-on skills in SQL, Excel, and ETL.
  • Able to run a complete A/B-testing closed loop, from design through implementation.
  • Background at a recognized social-casino or slots-style mobile game studio.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience specifically in Social-Casino or Sweepstakes-style games — familiarity with dual-currency economies, player segmentation, LTV, retention, and monetization analysis.

What to Expect

  • Compensation: Fixed salary + performance bonus. Engagement is structured through an Employer of Record, so benefits follow standard practice in your country of residence.
  • Setup: You'll join a newly formed, largely independent studio for this business line, working alongside a full functional team (design, engineering, art, operations, data) and reporting to the studio's Game Producer. Local studios run with real autonomy rather than as a satellite of a central office.
  • Hours: European working hours.

Location

Remote, home-based.

Interview Process

  1. DNA325 Screening — an initial call with your DNA325 recruiter to align on background, experience, and fit.
  2. HR Interview — a video conversation with the studio's HR team.
  3. Product Interview — a working session with the studio's Product Director, including a hands-on analytical exercise based on a real business scenario.
