Key Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working abroad (overseas)
  • Proven track record of overseas employment. Must provide supporting documents, including:
    • Certificate of Employment
    • Employment Contract
    • Letter from Employer
    • Payslips
    • Company ID
    • Residence Permit, etc.
  • Valid Police Clearance from country of work/residence for more than 5 years
  • Very good verbal and written English communications skills
  • Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lay, align, and position civil drainage pipes for wastewater, sewage, and stormwater systems to exact design specifications.
  • Install and join PVC pipes using solvent welding, rubber ring joints, and mechanical couplings.
  • Rig, maneuver, and install large-format concrete pipes, box culverts, and precast manholes using excavators and cranes.
  • Cut, thread, groove, and bevel pipes according to layout blueprints using specialized power tools.
  • Safely and efficiently operate specialized drainage machinery, including track/wheel trenchers and vacuum excavators (Ditch Witch, Vermeer, etc.).
  • Utilize standard earthmoving attachments and micro-excavators for precision trenching around existing utilities.
  • Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently operate specialized drainage machinery, including track/wheel trenchers and vacuum excavators (Ditch Witch, Vermeer, etc.).
  • Utilize standard earthmoving attachments and micro-excavators for precision trenching around existing utilities.
  • Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
  • Read and interpret civil engineering blueprints, site plans, and surveyor stakes.
  • Set up and utilize pipe lasers, optical levels, and GPS grade-control systems to establish accurate fall, slope, and invert levels.
  • Inspect trenches to ensure compliance with soil stability and shoring/benching safety regulations before pipe placement.
