Carpenter (Civil Concrete)

Key Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working abroad (overseas)
• Proven track record of overseas employment. Must provide supporting documents, including:
  • Certificate of Employment
  • Employment Contract
  • Letter from Employer
  • Payslips
  • Company ID
  • Residence Permit, etc.
• Valid Police Clearance from country of work/residence for more than 5 years
• Very good verbal and written English communications skills
• Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and install formwork for civil concrete structures, including pits, headwalls, and manholes.
• Tie and place steel reinforcement (steel fixing) according to engineering drawings.
• Set up, pour, and finish concrete for kerb and channel configurations, ensuring correct levels and drainage falls.
• Perform high-quality hand-finishing and benching for manholes and traditional drainage pits.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in civil concrete works (Formwork/Steel Fixing).
• Demonstrated experience with kerb and channel preparation and finishing.
• Proficient in smooth, precise manhole benching and concrete profiling.
• Ability to read plans, use levels (laser/optical), and establish correct falls.
