About the Jobs
- Quality Control on the Production Line:
Employees ensure the highest product quality during production, monitoring the appearance, consistency, and freshness of cheese at various processing stages. Quality control is essential for identifying any defects to prevent flawed products from continuing in the production or packaging process. - Handling and Opening Cheese Blocks:
Large cheese blocks weighing between 10 and 15 kg are transported and placed on conveyor belts for further processing. Employees are responsible for unpacking and preparing the blocks for cutting or slicing, which requires physical strength and skill in operating conveyor systems. - Packing of Grated Cheese:
Grated cheeses are packed either manually or by machine into boxes weighing up to 6 kg. This process includes carefully packing and securing the product to maintain freshness and quality during transport. - Maintenance Tasks:
Employees perform basic maintenance tasks, including cleaning and keeping the production line machines operational. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure efficient production and to prevent equipment breakdowns. - Preparing Products for Dispatch and Sale:
Employees prepare orders for dispatch, including proper labeling and packaging of products. The cheeses are then palletized and prepared for shipping to both domestic and international customers. - Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor:
Additional tasks may include warehouse management, preparing products for promotions or handling special production orders. The company requires flexibility and readiness to take on a variety of tasks depending on daily needs.
Job offer requirements:
- 40 hours.
- weekend work (if there is a high volume of orders), and, in case of fewer orders, willingness to work for other clients. Couples/friends are not guaranteed the same department or shift. Work schedules are personalized.
- Employees working in food production cannot wear artificial eyelashes, nail polish (including gel or hybrid nails), jewelry or piercings. Nails must be short and well-maintained.
- There are no contraindications to working at temperatures of 2-5 degrees.

Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer
Are you currently working in a technical role and looking for a new challenge? Then the role of Service Technician at our Cheese factory in Holland might be just the thing for you!
What does a Service Technician do?
Our Technical Department plays a vital role in keeping our machinery in top condition. As part of a team of no fewer than 25 enthusiastic technicians, you will be jointly responsible for ensuring that the (production) machinery continues to run smoothly on a daily basis.
The team boasts a wide range of knowledge and experience, and there is ample opportunity for you to develop your skills further. As this is a service-oriented department, you will have a significant amount of responsibility and will liaise with various colleagues. Your duties will also include:
Identifying and resolving (major) faults in production machinery, installations and process equipment
Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs
Implementing technical improvements and changes with the aim of optimising production processes
Administrative processing of fault and maintenance work
What do you bring to the role?
With a completed MBO qualification (preferably Level 4), for example in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, supplemented by knowledge of and experience with electrical circuits, pneumatics and mechanical engineering, you are the perfect fit for this role.
Experience in turning and stainless steel welding is a plus, but not essential. If you enjoy a problem-solving approach to your work, have the ability to learn new skills and can handle pressure, we have the perfect role for you.
You must be not older than 30 years old at the date of hiring and willingness to learn the Dutch language is very important.
You must be available to work 40 hours a week in a 5-shift rota; we'd be happy to provide you with more information about this. You'll be based at one of our production sites in the nice cities of Woerden, Bodegraven or Reeuwijk.
