Evening Kitchen & Service Team Member

Marcella's Lasagneria and Dogpatch Games are hiring an Evening Kitchen & Service Team Member to help support smooth, welcoming, and efficient evening service across our food and game space.

This is a hybrid role for someone comfortable moving between kitchen, dish, and guest-facing responsibilities. A typical shift may include cooking and plating simple menu items, washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness, helping guests at the counter, running food, restocking, and supporting closing tasks.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced small-business environment, likes variety in their work, and takes pride in being dependable, helpful, and adaptable.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
4:30pm–9:00pm

This position is ideal for someone seeking approximately 20–25 hours per week. There are opportunities for extended hours for candidates able to contribute to broader food and kitchen prep operations.

Compensation
$21–$24/hour, depending on experience, plus tips. Additional hours available for candidates with stronger prep skills, bilingual English/Spanish ability, and interest in taking on greater responsibility.

What You'll Do
Prepare and cook menu items during service as part of the cooking team
Wash dishes and support overall kitchen cleanliness
Help with restocking, setup, and closing tasks
Provide friendly and helpful customer service in delivering food to tables
Take orders and support front counter service as needed
Work across both Marcellas Lasagneria and Dogpatch Games as evening needs shift

What We're Looking For
Experience in food service, kitchen work, or hospitality
Comfort working both in the kitchen and with customers
Ability to stay organized and move quickly during busy periods
Strong reliability and punctuality
Willingness to jump between different responsibilities during a shift
A positive, team-oriented attitude

Especially Strong Candidates May Also Have
Experience with both kitchen prep and customer-facing service
Spanish and English language skills
Interest in taking on additional responsibility over time
Availability and ability to work expanded hours
Stronger prep and production skills for candidates interested in 30+ hours per week

For qualified candidates, this role may grow into one with more responsibility in leading the evening kitchen team. Candidates with bilingual English/Spanish skills, solid kitchen experience, and strong customer service ability may be especially well positioned for advancement.
