Job Title: HIL Integration Engineer
Location: Raymond, OH (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Work with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) protocols and diagnostic communication to create FMEA faults on HIL bench.
- Understand automotive diagnostic requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for diagnostic testing.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, System) to resolve issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of automation frameworks and processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures and results along with the failure analysis.
- Understanding of OBD on UDS Regulations / Standards.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) protocols.
- Proficient in Python programming for test automation.
- Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics principles and tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test cases.
- Must have experience:
- UDS [Diagnostics] / FMEA, Diagnostics Trouble code [DTC]
- DSPACE
- Automation testing
- CAN communication
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industry.
- Demonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (HIL) (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)
- Proficient with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems for comprehensive testing is preferred.
