As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in driving our sales efforts by building strong relationships with potential and existing clients. You will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries, identifying sales opportunities, and converting leads into long-term clients. The ideal candidate will possess a customer-centric mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions that align with Driving Sense’s services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Manage inbound leads, qualify prospects, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Driving Sense’s training solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Effectively present our services to potential clients, providing them with relevant information, product offerings, and solutions to meet their safety training needs.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for inquiries, quotes, and follow-up.
- Sales Administration: Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- Client Needs Analysis: Assess clients’ requirements to recommend the most suitable training programs, customizing solutions that align with their business goals and safety standards.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM system, tracking sales activities, client interactions, and progress through the sales funnel.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the training and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and a seamless client experience.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, targets, and performance to management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably within the training, education, or safety industry.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets through proactive lead generation, effective sales techniques, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and present solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Customer Focused: A strong customer service orientation with a passion for building long-term relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems; experience with sales tools or platforms is a plus.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and overcome objections.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, ensuring alignment on client objectives and smooth delivery of services.
