Rostering Officer
Job Description:
DSHQ Consulting are recruiting for a Scheduling Officer to create and manage the rosters for an amazing NDIS Provider in South-West Sydney.
The role is based in a modern, bright and professional setting with a super friendly and fun team.
What's the Role?
The team is made up of two Scheduling Officers and a Scheduling Team Leader. Your focus will be to roster individuals in a large support worker team to clients in the community. This is a fast paced and diverse role with priorities changing by the hour.
Staff Matching: Matching the skills of the support worker to the needs of the participants
Scheduling: Forward rostering, workforce planning, and reactive rostering
Communicating: Communicate with participants and staff about shifts and care needs

Who do we need?
If you have experience creating live schedules and rosters in any sector or industry you're encouraged to apply. It's important to note, that this is not a facility rostering role. You will be scheduling up to 280 hours of community based (clients homes) shifts a day. Working from home is not an option for this role.
You will have
- Amazing communication skills
- Complex problem solving skills
- A great ability to retain new information and recall it later
- Some knowledge of NDIS (desirable)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced role with ever changing priorities
- High level of computer literacy
