The Junior Planning Engineer will support project planning and scheduling activities for onshore oil and gas projects during the Engineering Phase, including FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design. The role is ideal for candidates with foundational planning experience in ADNOC projects and a strong understanding of engineering phase deliverables.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and updating of project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
- Support planning activities for FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules based on engineering team inputs.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly progress reports and highlight potential schedule risks.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather planning data.
- Support schedule analysis, resource allocation, and project baseline updates.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of planning-related information.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and ADNOC planning standards.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- 0-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Assistant Planner in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Experience in the Engineering Phase FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design.
- ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must be immediately available to join.
