SENIOR PIPELINE ENGINEER

The Senior Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for leading pipeline engineering activities for onshore oil and gas projects during the Engineering Phase, including FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design. The role requires a senior-level professional with extensive experience in pipeline design, ADNOC standards, and integration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and review of pipeline design deliverables, including layouts, alignment sheets, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs).
• Ensure all pipeline designs comply with ADNOC codes, project specifications, and international standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Process, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Electrical) to ensure design integration and consistency.
• Conduct and participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Mentor and guide junior pipeline designers and engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions related to pipeline routing, design, and constructability.
• Ensure timely submission of all engineering deliverables in line with project schedules and quality requirements.
• Contribute to HSE compliance in design and ensure safe design practices are implemented.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience as a Pipeline Engineer in onshore oil and gas projects.
• Extensive experience in the Engineering Phase FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design.
• ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
• Proficient in pipeline design software and tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of international pipeline codes, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Must be immediately available to join.
